What this policy covers

• Rentals and inquiries made through premierautobirmingham.com, phone, text, or social media DMs.
• Handoffs that take place at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) and, for approved events (e.g., weddings/photoshoots), venue staging is arranged in writing.
• We do not offer home or hotel delivery.

Information we collect

You provide:

• Contact & ID details (name, phone, email, driver’s license info).
• Booking details (dates, flight info for BHM handoff, preferred vehicle).
• Payment details (cardholder name and card number via our PCI-compliant processor).
• Messages and phone recordings (when you call or text us).
• Optional: event timelines, photography requests, and preferences (e.g., color/trim).

We generate or receive automatically:

• Basic device and site data (pages viewed, browser type, approximate location) via cookies/analytics.
• Operational data at handoff/return (time stamps, condition notes, photos documenting vehicle condition).
• Flight-status lookups for the flight number you share so we can time the BHM handoff.

We do not collect precise background-location data from your phone, and we don’t run continuous GPS tracking on customers.

How we use your information

• To provide the service: confirm availability, quote pricing, verify identity/eligibility, schedule BHM handoff, handle the agreement, and manage returns.
• To communicate: send confirmations, day-of handoff texts, and timely updates (e.g., “We’re curbside at BHM”).
• To protect you and us: prevent fraud, verify payment, document vehicle condition, and comply with the law.
• To improve our site: understand what content people look for (e.g., wedding cars vs. sports cars) and fix usability issues.
• With your permission: feature your photos/testimonials; you can say no.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party processor. We don’t store full card numbers on our servers. A refundable deposit hold may be placed before handoff; release timing depends on your bank.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for security/session management and limited analytics to see how people use the site (which pages help, which don’t). You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may affect booking features.

Texts, calls & email

• When you inquire or book, you agree we may contact you about the reservation (e.g., quotes, BHM handoff timing, return instructions).
• Marketing texts/emails are optional—you can opt out at any time. Transactional messages (about an active booking) will still be sent.

Sharing your information

We share only what’s needed to run the service:

• Payment processor (to take payment).
• ID verification/fraud prevention partners (when required).
• Insurance, law enforcement, or regulators (if legally required).
• Event vendors (only with your permission—for example, a venue coordinator for staging).

We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t allow partners to use it for their own advertising.

Data retention

• Booking records, agreements, and condition photos: kept for legal/insurance reasons.
• Messages/quotes: kept long enough to support your booking and any questions after.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, limited access, documented procedures). No method is perfect; if we ever believe your data is affected by a breach, we’ll notify you as required by law.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may be able to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete certain information we don’t need to keep
• Object/limit certain processing
• Receive a copy in portable format

California residents (CPRA): We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA.

EU/UK (GDPR): Our legal bases include contract (to provide the rental), legitimate interests (security, service improvement), legal obligation, and consent where required.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has provided data, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites (e.g., social platforms). Their privacy practices are their own—review their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Effective date” above and post the new version here. For material changes, we’ll also notify recent customers by email or text.
