Refund Policy

We keep booking simple: clear pricing up front and a real person to help if plans change. This page explains how refunds, cancellations, and schedule changes work for rentals that hand off at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM).

How to cancel or change a booking

Text or call the number in your confirmation with your name, dates, and “Cancel” or “Change”. We’ll reply quickly and confirm in writing.

Cancellations & refunds (by timing)

• 7+ days before your BHM handoff
• Full refund of rental charges to the original payment method. If your bank charges non-refundable card fees, we’ll show them on the receipt.
• 72 hours to 6 days before handoff
• 50% refund of rental charges. Your refundable security deposit (the hold we place at handoff) is not collected.
• Less than 72 hours before handoff
• Rental charges are non-refundable. If you need to move dates, see Rescheduling below—we’ll still try to help.
• No-show (no contact within 60 minutes of the scheduled handoff window at BHM)
• Counts as a late cancellation. Charges are non-refundable.

Good to know: Your security deposit is a hold, not a charge. If the rental does not begin, the hold is not taken.

Rescheduling (keep the plan, change the day)

• One free date change if requested 48+ hours before handoff, subject to availability and current pricing.
• Inside 48 hours: We can usually move your handoff for a change fee (shown on your quote) and any price difference for the new date/time.
• Flight delays on the same day: We shift your BHM handoff at no charge within reason. Overnight moves follow the rules above.

Weather & events

• Severe weather or airport disruptions: You may reschedule once within 90 days at no extra fee, subject to availability and current pricing.
• Weddings & timed events: We’ll do our best to flex. If timing runs over, additional time is billed in the increments shown on your agreement; we’ll confirm before it applies.

After your trip: refunds & deposit release

• We do a quick post-trip check when you return the car at BHM.
• If everything is on time and in the same condition, we release the security deposit hold right away.
• Banks typically show funds back on your card in 3–10 business days (timing depends on your card issuer).

Early returns

Once the rental has begun, unused time isn’t refundable. If you finish much earlier than planned, text us—we’ll note it and, when possible, offer a courtesy credit toward a future booking.

What’s not refundable

• Third-party card processing fees, your bank labels non-refundable
• Change fees you approved in writing
• Cleaning/smoking or damage charges listed on your agreement (only if they apply after inspection)

Where we hand off and pick up

Our standard service is BHM airport handoff only—curbside or short-term garage. For weddings or select events, we can coordinate approved venue staging; those arrangements will be written into your quote and may carry different change/return details.
